Feirinha São Luís, an event that brings together agroecological products, exhibitions and sale of crafts, visual and literary arts, gastronomy, cultural performances, and presentations by local artists, is an opportunity for those who want to get to know Maranhão’s culture. The cultural program takes place every Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm and occupies three points in the Historic Center, featuring musical performances with local artists.

The event is promoted by the Municipal Secretariat of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Supply (Semapa) and involves the participation of several other municipal secretariats. Its extension covers Benedito Leite Square on Nazaré Street, connecting Benedito Leite Square to João Lisboa Square, where vendors of typical foods, sweets, and other Feirinha São Luís specialties are concentrated. Along Egito Street, food truck trailers will be located—an additional gastronomic space where visitors can enjoy the best in cuisine, including stalls authorized to sell craft alcoholic beverages.
